Kirkwood offers free on-site parking for our guests.
All guests enter the park through the entrance gate and admission booth. Daily tickets may be purchased in advance or upon arrival at admissions. Season memberships and general admission tickets will all be scanned before entering the park.
Yes, tickets and season memberships are available at the Kirkwood Admissions Booth. Season memberships (which include admission to Twisted Trails Haunted Attraction) are also available online for purchase at gokirkwood.com/shop.(gokirkwood.com/shop)
At the admission booth you will receive a wristband. Guests must wear their wristbands at all times while on premises as proof of admission.
Yes! Wristbands are a very important way for staff to recognize park guests and activities purchased. Every guest is required to wear a wristband while at Kirkwood.
Yes, Mama’s Kitchen will be open for food, drink and snacks while you are at Kirkwood. There will also be an additional snack booth on Baptist Boulevard.
Our merchandise booth will have items such as sunscreen, towels, souvenir cups, and many other items you may need on your visit available for purchase.
Yes. We have changing areas for individuals and families, as well as lockers, located at the Main Lodge to make your visit easier for storing your items while you enjoy all that we have to offer.
Yes, Kirkwood has lockers in the Main Lodge for guests to utilize throughout the day. Locks are available for purchase at Mama’s Kitchen.
Yes, life jackets are required for all guests in the lake at all times. Life jackets are provided and located in the life jacket booth. Outside life jackets not permitted.
Yes, shoes are required for all of the attractions at Kirkwood, except while in the lake, on the Splash Blast Lake Obstacle Course, on the beach, or on Zebby's Splash Pad. Specifically closed-toe shoes, as well as shirts and pants or coverup, are required for Dutch Valley Tubing and Alien Invasion Gel Soft. Water shoes, cover ups, shirts and shorts are available for purchase in the merchandise booth.
Yes, Kirkwood has an outdoor area where you can rinse off both before and after getting in the lake.
Yes. There are a variety of outdoor gathering spaces. Picnic Grove in the Pines, the patio of the Main Lodge, or along Baptist Boulevard all are perfect locations to enjoy a meal or snack from Mama’s Kitchen.
No, Kirkwood does not permit outside food and drinks, coolers, or grills. Exceptions include: snack sized items, refillable water bottles, baby food and formula, and items essential to an individual's health and medical wellness.
Only service animals are permitted at Kirkwood. Other animals and pets are not permitted on the property.
Kirkwood is a smoke-free, drug-free, and alcohol-free property. No smoking, alcoholic beverages, or drugs are allowed on the premises.
Children 5 and under are free and do not require an admission ticket. However, guests of all ages will receive a wristband when entering the park and must wear it for the entire duration of their visit.
Admission tickets and season memberships are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for any reason. This includes weather related events. We do not issue rain checks. Please check local weather conditions prior to planning your visit.
Kirkwood Lake will close during a lightning warning. Some portions of the park may close in inclement weather until conditions permit safe operation. Please feel free to seek shelter in your vehicles to wait until such weather passes. Kirkwood does not issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather.

You will receive a wristband upon arrival. In order to re-enter Kirkwood, we ask that you keep your wristband on.
